Our History

The Licking County Computer Society (LCCS) was founded in 1985 as the Newark Area Computer Club. In 1988, the organization incorporated as a nonprofit with a goal of bringing local computer users together to learn, share information, and help one another. As technology evolved, so did our organization. In 2015, we expanded our service area and broadened our focus beyond personal computers. We became the East-Central Ohio Technology Users Club (ECOTUC), welcoming technology users of all types.

Two Names, One Organization
